It's McCalls 5704. I made it with the draped midriff (to camouflage the creamy filling in the middle) and the plain skirt (because what middle-aged woman needs gathers at the hip???).
I had to rework the bodice; after I tried it on with the original inset, I knew that The Male would never let me out of the house. So, I took it apart and made a new insert, an inch and a half higher. Much better.
So, there wasn't too much drama with this dress, thank goodness! Perhaps the mojo is returning, after all.
I tried to get a photo on the dress form, but I couldn't get it over Babs' notorious bust, so you get a photo the real me. Sorry.
