I made another hat for my daughter from The Saturday Night Hat book. I think it turned out pretty cute. The author's instructions aren't always clear, so I'm not actually sure that it is constructed perfectly. But, it looks as if it's a newsboy hat, so I'm OK with that.

This next hat is for Violet, my granddaughter. I love this hat. It was so irresistible, I actually went out and bought new bright orange yarn, instead of doing what I usually do and scrounge in my stash. It's from the latest issue of Crochet Today, my very favorite crochet magazine. Most of the patterns are in both written and graphic form, which I find helpful when I get stuck, as I inevitably do.
This really was a delight!

Wow! I'm really wishin' I looked good in hats. Rats. You do an awesome job, my dear. Amazing. Truly amazing what you can do.
Thank you, my friend! It's really not all that amazing; it's just that I can follow directions fairly well!
