I've been on a leave from my job, and I've had a huge list of projects to accomplish in these three months. Before going back to work, I want to have most of my Christmas gifts, cards, and photos completed.
Then, the airline announced voluntary furloughs, and I got all giddy and lightheaded with the possibilities, thinking for sure I'd be able to hold at least a 6-month bid and that lessened my push to get things done.
Ha.
Once again, all my hopes and dreams have been dashed against the rocks of reality. It's getting all too familiar.
But, after praying for grace and endurance and better attitude (a good night's sleep was an added bonus), I'm back to attacking my original list with renewed energy.
And, this is the result:
Aren't they pretty? Twelve jars of orange marmalade, made from the fruit of our own trees. It makes me very happy. There are still oodles of projects before I can cross "Christmas" off my list, but it's a very good start.

Hey, that's really cool! I wouldn't mind at all if we're on the preserve list. :-)
Nice... :-)
