I am SO excited!

I am on a trip for the next 3 days, so the little yellow sweater is my work in progress. However, tonight, I've been browsing the blogs and am thoroughly amazed at all the wonderfully creative women out there. Why don't any of you live in my neighborhood???
But, for now, I have learned a new trick: color matching! Wow! I love the look of bright white in photos. I think it's one of the defining differences between a snapshot and a photograph. Learning how to adjust the white balance in my camera was a good start, but the matching color feature in my software really makes it pop.
So, here at my layover hotel, I played around with a photo of a jacket that I finished recently from the book Candy Babies . The color matching really made the white trim so much brighter. My only real regret was that I didn't get the picture taken with the baby wearing it. It was hot and I didn't want to make the little guy even warmer.

I also figured out how to insert a link in my postings. Now, I know that Blogger made it "Inserting Links for Dummies" easy, but still, I'm very satisfied with myself.
Now, I really need to turn this computer off and go to bed; tomorrow is an early check-in and a long day.
