A New Blouse

A while back, when my daughter was visiting, we hired babysitters, and she, my daughter-in-law, and I all went to LA's Fabric District. Oh, what a great day we had! Two of my favorite people and endless fabric stores! Really, it doesn't get much better than that!
This is the first garment I've sewn from the stash I bought that day. I am very happy with how it turned out. It's Butterick 5354. Bought on sale for .99 at JoAnn's, of course. The fabric came from Michael Levine's Loft, where you dig through huge boxes of miscellaneous fabric, unearthing something wonderful, get it measured, and then weighed. $2.00 a pound! Such a deal!
Now on to my next project.

I like it! That pattern looks like a keeper.. maybe I should track it down, too.

Oooh I love it! I agree with Rachel, I think I'll track that one down too! I especially like the 3/4 sleeves!
