...who aren't so "wee" anymore!
I am leaving today, using my cabin jumpseat privileges on JetBlue, Lord willing, to get to Portland where I'm visiting my children's second mother. Connie is a dear friend from years and years ago, and we have stayed friends despite the distance that now separates us.
Many moons ago, when my airline wasn't so understanding about the fact that only wanted a part time job, you see, Connie took my kids under her wings on more than one occasion for our old church's family camp. But, I love her for more than that!
So, I'm staying with her until Wednesday, when I head to Seattle to see my sister and go the Sewing Expo.
I didn't want to come empty handed, so using some remnants in my stash, I made aprons for each of her three children. I have a little something for Connie, too, but it's way yummier than an apron!
