Ha.
Rather, before I return to being an over-worked, sore-footed, sleep-deprived waitress with wings.
But, I digress! (Insert sound of me slapping myself.)
I really, really like this new top. I bought the iron-on rhinestone design on my last visit to the Fabric District in LA. It was very easy to apply, and for just a few dollars I think it gives quite the detail this yoke needed.

And, to continue the hat theme I seem to have developed here...
My wonderful mother-in-law is a member of the Red Hat Society. She really puts on her finery for the meetings, calling it "playing dress up." So, for her upcoming birthday, I made her this topper. I embroidered the splashy flowers on the brim and then added rhinestones for a finishing touch. It's lined in the same purple fabric as the trim and bow. I really, really hope she likes it. It sure delighted me to make it!

I wasn't familiar with the Red Hat ladies until I recently exhibited my photos at a local gathering. What a blast! They're a wild and crazy (translate: fun) bunch.
Those are great! Everyone needs more sparkle in their life. Although true to form, yours was very tastefully done. :c)
I enjoy looking at your creations!
